These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Shrunk (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Shrunk is a free, browser-based tool that compresses, resizes and converts images locally on your device. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any images you process with the Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.
• Misrepresent the Service or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

3. Your content

Because all processing happens locally in your browser, we never receive, store or access the images you process. You retain all rights to your content. You are solely responsible for keeping your own backups of any files you work with.

4. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its name, design, code and branding — is owned by Shrunk and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your specific requirements. Always verify processed images before relying on them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shrunk and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms, at any time. When we update the Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
